How Teachers Learn: Effective Professional Development Reach 430

This series starts with the big, conceptual ideas of how learning occurs in schools, including developmental views of teacher learning and the conditions schools need to create to foster the kind of learning that leads to more effective instruction. The series then focuses in on promising practices for effective professional development.

Practicum projects include a critical evaluation of a school site professional development initiative and, using the action researchers mindset, a proposed design for an improved process.
